Privacy Policy

E-Manager ("we", "us") is a business management app built by Acacia Labs for small and medium businesses. This policy explains what information the E-Manager app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign up or sign in, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, Clerk — we never see or store your password.
- Business data you enter: products, customers, sales invoices, expenses, debts, and any other records you create in the app (e.g. agriculture or service-business modules). This data is yours — we store it only to provide the app's functionality to you.
We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location, and we do not collect any data beyond what's listed above.
How your data is stored
E-Manager is offline-first: your business data is stored locally on your device in an on-device database so the app works without an internet connection. When you're signed in and online, that same data is synced to our cloud database (hosted on Supabase) so it's backed up and available if you switch devices. Cloud data is scoped to your account only, protected by row-level security, and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
How we use your data
We use the information above solely to operate the app: authenticating you, storing and syncing your business records, and providing customer support if you contact us. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that help us run the app, each of which acts as a data processor on our behalf:
- Clerk — authentication and session management.
- Supabase — cloud database hosting for synced business data.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Your choices
- You can use E-Manager entirely offline without ever syncing data to the cloud.
- You can sign out of the app at any time from Settings.
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@acacialabs.co.tz. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's privacy
E-Manager is a business tool intended for business owners and staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
